Reserve A Ride

Reserve-A-Ride operates to and from all points in Jackson County. Reserve-A-Ride is available to the general public on a first come/first serve basis.

What is Reserve-A-Ride?
JTA Reserve-A-Ride service provides door to door service to all residents of Jackson County on a first come first served basis. Rides are provided by a twenty-four (24) hour advance reservation basis with same day rides scheduled on an as available basis. Customers may schedule rides anywhere within Jackson County (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

The JTA uses lift or ramp equipped vehicles to provide Reserve-A-Ride service to the physically disabled. Vehicles range from mini-vans to twenty-four (24) passenger small buses. Service is provided at curb side unless the customer has a drive or parking area that can accommodate the JTA vehicle.

When is Service Available?

City Reserve-A-Ride schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Saturday - 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m
Sunday - 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

County Reserve-A-Ride schedule:
Pickup hours are between:
6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.

Drop off hours are between:
1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Destination and return locations may be limited to areas near or within the City due to time restraints. Boarding times may vary within the two hour time fram.

Reservations may be made up to one week (7 days) in advance of the scheduled trip. Reservations are strongly recommended, but you should call to ask about availability even if you have not made reservations because many times openings are available due to cancellations. Within the City of Jackson service hours are: Monday thru Friday (6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.), Saturday (10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday (7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
